Every factual claim about back pain on this site is listed here with its source, so you can check it rather than take my word for it.

I am not a medical professional, so anywhere I state something as fact rather than as my own experience, it needs to come from someone who is. This page lists all of those claims in one place.

Each entry shows what the claim is used to support, who published the source, the exact supporting wording, and the date I last checked it. If a source has changed since then and the claim no longer holds, please tell me and I will correct it.

Anything on this site without a source next to it is my personal experience, not established fact. I have tried to keep that line clear throughout.

A note on what is not here

You will notice there are no studies cited claiming that any particular program relieves back pain, including mine. That is deliberate. I have not run a trial, nobody has studied this program, and citing unrelated research to imply otherwise is a common trick I would rather not use.

The sources above support general statements about back pain that come from health authorities. They do not support any claim about what this program will do for you.
